Performance Group
Our Dance Team “On Broadway Dancers” was created to give dancers an opportunity to learn more choreography and have more performing opportunities.
Our Dance Team is open to dancers in grades 3 and up and meets on Fridays (4:15 – 7:15) and Saturdays (3pm – 6pm). Dancers choose one day or the other to participate. Good attendance and level of commitment is required.
Each Spring we have a small performance / fundraiser. At the performance we showcase all of our routines, have a potluck dinner and hold a raffle to raise money for competition fees.
We participate in one competition Memorial Day weekend in Melrose, MA
We also have at least one workshop where outside teachers and choreographers come in to work with our dancers.
Dancers are encouraged to participate in other dance classes in addition to Dance Team.
